NEW WORK DEBUTED OCTOBER 2013
After an extended period of research and experimentation Richard Galpin's new work launched during Frieze week 2013.
Two major new works were shown - a free standing sculpture made from steel drywall studding, sprayed with automotive paint - and an orbital sanded photograph - both approximately 2.5 x 3.5 metres. Originating as previously from photographs of cities and construction sites, but with the use of materials and processes from 21st century construction marking a significant departure for the work...
Installed in a Hales Gallery temporary project space in the Tea building in Shoreditch. Last day Sat 19th October.
